Q: How do I use Belly Butter?
A: Just open the jar, apply a small amount with your fingers and massage it into any area you want to treat externally on your body. No mixing involved. External Use Only!

Q: How long will a jar of Belly Butter last?
A: That depends on how often you use it, the extent of the area you are treating, and what other uses you may find for it. With daily use, a 4oz. jar usually lasts 6-8 weeks, an 8oz. jar up to 4 months.

Q: How often should I use it?
A: As often as you like and convenient to your lifestyle. Most individuals use it once or twice a day, usually following their bath or shower and at bedtime.

Q: How should I apply the salve?
A: It's a simple no-mix, no fuss application. Just open the jar and take a small amount onto your fingers and massage it into any external area you wish to treat. A little product goes a long way and the thick consistency allows a small amount to be used with each application. As you massage the salve you will notice how quickly it absorbs into the skin. If you find the salve is not absorbing quickly, then you are applying too much.

Q: How long does it take to see results?
A: Belly Butter® was intended originally for pregnant women to help prevent stretch marks. When used by those with preexisting marks, results vary. Some individuals see changes in the first few weeks and others find that it takes months. 78% of those using the salve to treat existing marks and scars experience an improvement in 6 to 8 weeks. The improvements include fading, blending, and smoothing. Some report the marks are no longer visible. 92% of pregnant women using the salve report no appearance of stretch marks. This includes many carrying twins. All indicated it stopped the annoying itching.

Q: What other things can this salve be used for?
A: Several: Scars and scarring tissue. Highly recommended for scars. Studies indicate that young scars heal quickly, keloids diminish and smooth, and older scars fade and smooth. Rash, psoriasis, eczema, dry skin, chapped skin, itchy skin: Reports and studies indicate that a very rapid improvement occurs with these conditions. More than 70% of users with these conditions report a complete recovery from the skin disorder in less than half the time previously experienced when using other remedies. Sunburn, windburn, and exposure to inclement weather: Amazing healing occurs with the frequent avoidance of blisters forming, skin peeling, patching, chapping or flaking. Cuts, bruises, household burns, wounds, scrapes: The use of the salve is reported to be quite effective in quickly healing the affected skin area and diminishes discoloration and returns the skin area to a normal appearance in a relatively short period of time. Cancer patient radiation burns & itching. Herpes Simplex II outbreaks. Foot balm, hand, nail, face and body moisturizer: Reports indicate that it effectively softens, and smoothes rough dry itchy flaking skin. Those with problem feet, hands and nails suggest it is the most effective product they ever used. Men and women rave about the effect it has on their face and bodies. As a nightly facial moisturizer, it is suggested it relieves the appearance of wrinkles and puffy eyes.

Q: Help! I melted my butter! What do I do? Is it ruined?
A: Great Mother's Goods Butters are designed to melt at body temperature. This enhances their ability to be applied evenly to the skin as well as with absorption into the skin. It is possible that your Butter will melt in the jar during the summer months as a result of high temperatures in some parts of the world, or you might leave it in the car, etc. You can easily solidify your Butter by reducing its temperature. This can be accomplished with a refrigerator or air conditioning. It is suggested you periodically shake the melted Butter or stir during this resolidification process. The color will be a darker greenish shade as a result of complete melting. This is normal and does not affect the product.
